One common theme in our "Bullying" posts is that we need to be more confident so as not to feel the impact of bullying. This is an interesting look at how we can be confident with OURSELVES, rather than obsessing with others' views of us! Originally posted July 6, 2014

One thing I hate the most is, body shaming.

Like the article says" stop spending all day obsessing, cursing, perfecting your body like it’s all you’ve got to offer the world. Your body is not your art, it’s your paintbrush. Whether your paintbrush is a tall paintbrush or a thin paintbrush or a stocky paintbrush or a scratched up paintbrush is completely irrelevant". I like that because people try to have perfect body's cause of what society says and what we see in magazines and photoshop. So everyone thinks that they are fat,or over weight.Using a paint brush you can transfer your life on to a canvas and express yourself on it with no right or wrongs answers.

I know a lot of people who care way too much about their appearance. They think that whatever you look like is what really matters but to most people, its what they are doing. Let's say that is you look good on a day, but you are acting really rude and disrespectful, everyone is going to know that person as rude instead of a good looking person. I find that looking pretty will get attention but it may not be the attention you want. People could be judging you. But also I know people who may not be the prettiest people in the world but the way they act overlooks that and the kindness they show is their beauty. People may judge the way you look, but if you act like yourself and be respectful, that is the paintbrush you want to use for your masterpiece

I think so many people in this world can learn from this article. There are so many people that care to much about there appearance. The problem is all the advertisements is store ans magazines or girl and guys with perfect body's and hair and stuff are setting bad examples for people because all that matters is what is on the inside. I know everyone wants to be noticed and recognized by everyone but you don't have to be noticed for how pretty or perfect you look, you can be noticed for how kind or smart or caring you are on the inside. People need to stop caring what others and themselves look like and start making positive relationships and working on there personalities and what is on the inside...
