Review the "Section 4 Notes" presentation and then complete the following tasks:
1) Research an energy source that humans currently use to harness energy. Explain WHAT the energy source is (5 marks). Tell HOW we are able to convert it to a useable energy source (5 marks). Detail the environmental implications and COMPARE it's environmental impact to another source, ensuring that you explain in FULL detail (10 marks). 20 marks
2) Create a T-chart demonstrating the benefits and drawbacks of electrical technology. You must list 5 ideas for each side of your chart and use FULL SENTENCES to explain WHY they are a benefit or drawback. This can be accomplished with an example.

- What is the difference between a renewable and non-renewable resource?
- What percentage of electricity is generated by fossil fuels?
- Coal is associated with many negative environmental implications. Describe these, and describe an environmental problem that is NOT associated with coal fired power plants.
